４社の中で一番大きなFuel Cell Energy社の時価評価額が$193.2M、売上が$120Mだが、2012年度ではまだ$38.7Mの赤字である。
だが、Fuel Cell Energy社の今年のQ3のレポートを見ると、Q3だけで$53.7Mの売上、$4.5Mの黒字との事。

FuelCell Energy社は、１台あたり0.3MW, 1.3MW, 2.8MWの据え置き型の発電量装置に特化しており、北米と韓国での発電所（電力会社）や、データセンターや病院の自家発電マーケットに売上を伸ばしている模様。
下の写真が2.8 MWの発電装置。2つの筐体からなるが、各筐体に350KWの発電ユニットを4個（計8個）持ち、全体で350KWx8=2.8MWの発電容量となる。
